Overview

ECCE TERRAM worked very early and very intensely with Content management to systems. The experiences with CMS started in 1996 in which ECCE TERRAM developed one of the first editorial staff systems which was used by big customers like " DIE ZEIT " or the computer newspaper "Computer Zeitung", however, also from the city of Oldenburg untill TYPO3 as an Open Source solution became the first choice.

Whats a Content Management System?

To remain the management of growing sites, the so-called Content management systems (CMS) originated:

  • A CMS allows basically an easy update of webpages also to "non-programmers". Contents can be also updated decentralized according to authorization fast, intuitively and comfortably.
  • Besides, the separation of design / layout and content for the separate treatment is the determining factor.

  • A CMS is open complementable any time and open retrofitable for new areas and functionalities. The equipment of a CMS orientates itself by the today's requirements as well as by the very foreseeable future requirements.

Our duties and services are mainly installation, customizing, template development, training, system care, further development and hosting.

What distinguishes TYPO3?

The CMS supplier's market has considerably grown in a short time and TYPO3 has developed in the last years to the absolute Shooting star of the CMS scene. It differs in several points from customary systems. It offers a huge number of features and additional modules which allow the application of the system also in the enterprise segment.

Open Source

The software TYPO3 with all modules is completely uncoded source (keyword: Open Source) and makes with it the user manufacturer independent.
