Desktop Client

An desktop client allows the users to sort their digital photos on their own computers and to work on. With the desktop client the user can order his photos comfortably as a photo print or photo fun product from you.

What does the client offer?
- Image processing (e.g., remove red eyes, cropping features, etc.)
- Album management
- Fun products and gift products (e.g., calendar, greetings cards, cup, etc.)
- Ordering via Internet
- Ordering about self-burnt CD
- Voucher & Promotions
- Startable directly from CD

How does the order reach you?

There are two different order ways the images can be transfered: On-line on the Internet or the off-line client burns the order on a CD which is sent via mail by the user.

The burning on CD is a real advantage at big orders. The order includes an order file defined after your wishes, which allows an automatic processing of the order.

The client has been developed in modern programming frameworks.

t works for

- Windows 95 / 98 / XP / in 2000 / NT
- MacOS X
- Linux

and 98% of the source code are identical. That means adaptations and extensions are available immediately on all platforms. Because there are only few MacOS X clients and no Linux clients availliable, a real advantage.

The experiences in working with Kodak at the client for  PrimusPhoto
showed that nearly 50% of the downloads came from Mac and Linux useers, because there are still only few possibilities for image orders.

We give a basic, temporal, areal and as regards content unlimited right of use with soucecode included, documentation and the right of changing the code. Whether and when you develop yourself or if our company should this remains to you.

An important aspect for the application is the adaptation without software change.
That means, that you can change graphics, texts, images and other design elements simply via configurations. Important for the partners, who wish a corporate design with own design elements.
