With et_faq lists with frequently asked questions can be placed on the web page in an easy way. That will give the visitors the possibility to answear his questions without writing an e-mail.
Description
FAQ's (Frequently asked questions) are a collection of questions customers frequently ask. Because questions should not wait for an answear too long it's good to have the suitable answers collected on the web page. This also promotes the customer satisfaction, because a prospective customer leaves with the feeling to be well-advised.
The extension TYPO3 et_faq offers the possibility to create such FAQ pages. Besides, there is the possibility to create categories and to assign FAQs to one or several web pages. TYPO3 systems, which have more than one website for example a TYPO3 system, that provides information from an editorial server to different live servers.
The configuration happens through the backend module:„ FAQ“. Here FAQ texts and categories can be added to the currently choosen page. Differently to the TYPO3 list module FAQ are categorized. This has the advantage that you see directly to which category a question depends and change the position also within the category.
Through the FAQ backend module you also have the possibility to change the appearance of the FAQ list in the frontend. The FAQ list supports at the moment the modes:
- Standard view and lift up lists
With the standard view a listing of the categories is shown, so the visitor of your web page can limit his choice. With the click on a category he gets the FAQ texts.
The lift up list shows all questions together and the answer appears first if the question was clicked with the mouse. So large FAQ's can be presented clear.
